Natureboy Rowe Da Show: 2 Encore

Thumbing through my usual iTunes playlist @ work, bored from the monotony that plagues the radio. I visit my homeboy's blog & I find he's officially dropped
Da Show: 2 Encore. I've been anticipating this since he first dropped Da Show (part 1). He's made mention of it here and there and even dropped a few other mixtapes, which has only teased that anticipation. Well, the wait is over! I'll have to disagree with the coined phrase, "... anticipation is the best pleasure." because once you hear this. "This *ish.. right here..." This is Da Show: 2 Encore! And it's incredible.

I've only had time in my busy work schedule to make it through 15 of the 29 incredible tracks. Three of my fav's thus far are "I'm NB", "My Wheel's Clean" and track 15 "Highsider", classic Cali baseline coupled with Rowe using the "T-pain voice effect" over the beat. It's reminiscent of a Westside Connection song X Kanye. Very original none the less. Perfect example of expounding on idea. Most of you may not know but Nautreboy Rowe's "alter ego" is an incredible artist. It doesn't just stop at music. It extends to the traditional arts & the creativity is just as present here.

I'll spare you the rambling, but definitely be sure to get this TODAY! Be on the look out for the website too. It's being updated at the moment. But bookmark it now & check it out daily. www.natureboyrowe.com And be sure to bookmark his blog too http://natureboyrowe.blogspot.com and check that out too. Until next time I'm out & pick this up. Buy 10 copies & put them in the kids' trick-or-treat bags this year @ Halloween, hand them out at Thanksgiving & buy 7 more now & wrap them up for Christmas gifts.

That's all for now!
Enjoy the people close to you & thank those who have helped mold the person who you've become. Thanks for that Rowe.

Kicking around some random thoughts... let me know what you think. Semi poem or something that picks up somewhere in the middle... I'm not sure how it will begin.

There she arrived, I took her by the hand and explained that for her, I'd stretch both arms towards the sky like tall blades of grass, and with my bare hands part the clouds, just so the sun could trace her lips with fresh fruit... and it'd only cost her 2 smiles, one for me and one for the world, so they could see what a blessing GOD gave me. And at night, I'd shake the stars from the sky and clasp the constilations around your waist, so as we dance, the light will guide our pace as we hug the breeze and share such a warm embrace

Things don't feel right over here… Lately I haven't been seeing clear.

I'm not sure what's been going on the past few months. It's like someone has stole my ability to comprehend my own inspiration. I'm not sure that makes much sense, but just imagine something that comes as natural to you as walking leave you one morning, without warning. My inspiration flung its arms wide in the face of the sun and danced away from me. It didn't even leave a note on the night stand. Even this blog is plagued with diffused words from overly inflated ideas. It's not even a matter of execution… the ideas haven't even been developed. Maybe it's my heart. My heart's not in it. I'm forcing it… My attention span has dwindled to that of a 2 year old in a Chucky Chesse, whose parents are trying to get him to sit still for a family picture.

Ok so I'll switch subjects and I bet my inspiration will sneak up from behind and steal a kiss… so let's see… hmm… I watched Ocean's Eleven and Twelve this past week. I seem to have a new found love for spy movies. Jeremy asked me if I was planning to rob someone… lol… who knows. I need to rob someone for their inspiration. WHERE IS MY INSPIRATION! No matter… The quotes I've been living by for the past few months are these: "Free your heart and show your greatness" and "Live, Don't' just exist!" So that's what I've been trying to do… forcing it though… Hmm… I told you this was random… I'll be back tomorrow… This time I'm waking up to inspiration. GOD and all HIS blessings are my real inspiration. I'm not forcing it.

Love Visits

If I could paint a picture with words in the language of my choice it would be yours. The language your heart speaks let me speak it. Let us be the only two who speak in that tounge, but with the passion we speak it with, let those around us feel each sound as it vibrates their souls and hug their hearts. Let them feel it in their stomach as if butterflies were at play. Let it guide their fingers to touch the canvas of life and paint with the soul of every artist on their best day. Let that language radiate from us to them, then be reborn in us so that we may feel what they've felt. And from the moment our hands reach out and our fingers touch let us hear on one accord our thoughts, so that when our fingers lock and our hands embrace, we'll hug and not let go. Then we'll know that GOD's watching over us and love's been visiting.

This poem is to a very special woman. You mean a lot to me.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - marianne williamson
